I have assembled two lists. The first list is of companies that I know for certain offer home positions (including the company I work for) and the second list is of websites that keep an up-to-date list of telecommute jobs available.
Companies-Most of these companies hire for customer service/sales jobs.
- 1-800-flowers.com-I have been working as a home agent for this company since last august. They will be hiring again in late summer/early fall.
- LiveOps
- Alpine Access
- Arise
- 24-7 In Touch-Canada
- Accu Conference
- Ansafone Communications
- Working Solutions
- Cloud 10 Corp
- Answer 1
- TeleTech
The bottom line is to be careful how you use these websites. I have found them to be great tools in looking for employment, but there are many ways to make an income from home and some are more appealing than others.

Unfortunately a lot of the "work" involved in working from home is separating the good jobs from the bad ones. Be very careful when sending any personal information to a company unless you know for sure they are legit. Check BBB ratings and Google the company and search for reviews written by previous employees. Keep in mind that all companies have their disgruntled workers, but if you see a pattern in the complaints you'll know something isn't up to par.
Good luck!
That was very helpful and educating. Please do more! I DEMAND MORE!
